Gili Air is closest to the mainland and the most quickly accessed of the three Gilis. This island has the largest local population ( with about 1200 people) of the three and combines the charm of tropical island, with access to the people and culture that make Lombok so special.There are beaches around most of island and small village at the southern end. Home and small farms are dotted amongst the palm trees, along with a few losmen and the couple of pubs. Because the building are so scaterrd, the island has a pleasant, rural character and is delighful to wander around.

Daving facilities abound and there is nice snorkelling directly from the shore, particularly from the east and northeast beaches. The south of the island has some good surf, in the right condition.

Gili Air is easier to reach and offer cheaper transfer by public boat. For the backpackers can buy the shuttle bus ticket from Senggigi which included bus and public boat. More information about shuttel bus ticket, please contact us.
