Lombok Landcruise Tour

Sembalun Village

This Lombok Tour program will be started at 08.00 am after breakfast from your hotel on Lombok Island. We will drive around 20 minutes to reach Gunung Sari village to visit the traditional market. You can observe how the local people sell and buy here. You can also buy some fruits to give to the friendly monkey in the Baun Pusuk pass. The Baun Pusuk pass can be reached from Gunung Sari in a few minutes. You can see many friendly monkeys here.

They will be happy if the visitors bring some food or fruit for them. No worry, they are not aggressive like the monkeys in Sangeh Bali. From this area, we can also enjoy the beautiful views of three Gilis (Gili Air, Gili Meno, and Gili Trawangan).

The next program visits the Sendang Gila waterfall in Senaru. We will drive around one and a half hours from Baun Pusuk to Senaru. On the way drive to Senaru, we will stop in a village to visit Lombok traditional house (Sasak house). You will find the original Lombok villagers here. Most of them can’t speak Bahasa Indonesia; they speak only their mother language (Sasak Language). The children will be happy if you bring some candies or snacks

After an half hour’s drive, we will find Senaru village where the Sendang Gila is located. We must buy the ticket before visiting the Sendang Gila waterfall. The local guide will accompany you to see the Sendang Gili waterfall. After taking the photos and enjoying the view of Sendang Gila waterfall we will back to the gate. The next program is lunch. It is done in a local restaurant in Senaru, during enjoying the food and cool drink you can see the beautiful rice terrace of Senaru.

The ancient cultural heritage of the first Islamic immigrants still has a close relationship with the Bayan and Senaru inhabitants. If we have the time we can visit also Sembalun village the second trekking route to Mount Rinjani and Labuan Lombok where the traditional Phinisi Ship and the typical house of the Bugis tribe exist. On the way back we will visit Tete Batu which + is 700 m high above sea level, which is a rich owning clove, coffee, and vanilla plantations, and also a rice paddy terrace.
