Lombok Express offers afternoon boat transfers from Bali to Lombok, Gili Air, and Gili Trawangan. The boat departs at 12.30 pm from Padangbai harbor direct to Lombok and then continues to Gili Island. This daily schedule becomes an alternative for people who want to visit Lombok but don’t want to use the early boat transfer. Padang Bai is the preferred departure point for those in Ubud or southeast Bali. It takes a 90-minute drive to reach Kuta, but the journey from Padang Bai to Lombok takes one hour. Those who do not wish to spend as much time in a boat will have to trade the longer journey by road for a shorter journey by sea.
